Statutory Reporting System for Securities is an automated regulatory reporting system that produces returns conforming to the submission requirement set out by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) in Hong Kong. It is a cost-effective solution designed for reducing the costly and lengthy process of preparing the monthly returns.
What the system requires are the securities trading and general ledger accounts balance information, in the form of "Interface Files", prepared from your existing securities and accounting systems. Based on such Interface Files, together with some predefined information, the system can automatically be calculated and produced the SFC returns (Form 1 to 7) readily for submission. For the information which is not part of your existing system, the system does provide data maintenance tools to manipulate necessary data.
Statutory Reporting for Securities features:
Automated returns calculation, with supporting details output
Allows manual adjustments for all calculated returns before submission, with audit trial on adjusted items
Supports manual input for non-calculated returns
Supports returns submission backup and past returns reprinting
